Heriz means 'tough'! Very coarse construction averaging 30 KPSI (knots per sq. inch) gives a wonderfully thick rug that usually cannot be folded, but must be rolled. Bold designs in copper to brick colours have made this rug popular in modern interiors. Border patterns are almost never mitred, unforgivable in finer 'city' rugs, but excused in Heriz for their other charms.
